Oliver is a Chartered Insurer from the Chartered Insurance Institute, (UK) and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Cape Coast, Executive Masters in Business Administration from The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), and an LLB from the University of London. He is a seasoned insurance practitioner and a business leader with over 19 years working experience, 10 years of which has been in Middle and Top Management positions in the Ghanaian Insurance Industry. As part of his professional and career development he has attended various insurance and business leadership courses and training programs in London, South Africa, Morocco, Kenya and Togo. Prior to joining Millennium Insurance Company Limited, he worked as the Chief Operating Officer of Provident Insurance Company Limited.
Ras A. Boateng, CFA is a top level professional with over twenty years of broad management experience in Insurance, Fund Management and Investment Banking. Until May 2010, Ras was the Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) where he served as the key architect and builder of Africa’s only successful social health insurance program. Prior to joining the NHIA, Ras had held other executive positions such as Deputy Director General (SSNIT – Ghana), Vice President and Director of Investments (Hanover Investments, Inc. – USA), Vice President, Debt Capital Markets (Paine Webber Inc., USA), Actuarial Associate, Group Pension & Employee Benefit Services (Connecticut General life Insurance Company – CIGNA, USA).
Ras was educated at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – MIT, where he earned an (MSc. Management with concentration in Finance and Applied Economics); (BSc. Industrial Engineering & Applied Mathematics); University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign (Post Graduate Certificate, Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management). Ras was first Ghanaian awarded the CFA Charter, he significantly influenced the selection of Accra as the sole CFA examination centre for West Africa and served on the CFA examination board as a grader of CFA professional examinations from 1997 until 2008. He co-chaired the National Bond Market Development Committee whose work culminated in recommendations to the Ghanaian government for sovereign credit rating, a global bond issue and a central securities depository (CSD) of the Ghana Stock Exchange. Ras serves as a Director on the Boards of Ghana Securities Depository, Millennium Insurance Company, and FirstBanC Financial Services Ltd. He is a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute and a member of the Boston Securities Analysts Society. Ras is an avid reader of history, philosophy and social development.
Prof. Kwame Boasiako Omane-Antwi is the Vice Rector and Dean of the Graduate School, Pentecost University College, Ghana. He is a Chartered Accountant trained by Pannell Kerr Forster, now PKF and a Chartered Tax Practitioner. He holds a PhD in Accounting, Professional Doctorate in Taxation, MA in Accounting Education and he is alumnus of Green Templeton College, University of Oxford, UK.
Kwame has published eight (8) textbooks, 45 refereed articles, 70 conference papers and has attended several Executive Education programs including Corporate Finance Management, Harvard Business School, 1993, Management, International Negotiations and Leadership Studies, Yale School of Management, 1995. His areas of expertise are Accounting and Finance, Audit and Assurance, Taxation, Fraud Examination and Knowledge Management. Kwame is the Board Chairman of the Pentecost Hospital, New Times Corporation, Graduate School of Governance and Leadership, Diamond Finance Company Limited and a Member of Jubail Hospital and IVF Centre.
Baba Abdullah Issah is a finance professional with extensive cross- functional experience in the field of banking, consulting and advisory services. His working career spans 20 years, having started work as a banking officer with SG-SSB Bank Limited in 1987, then to Barclays Bank of Ghana Limited in 1998 and then to Fidelity Bank limited in 2008. During this period, he has had significant exposure in the areas of consumer banking, credit risk management and finance and worked for brief periods in Barclays businesses in Kenya, South Africa and United Arab Emirates. He was the Finance Director of Barclays Bank of Ghana for eight years, and the Chief Operating Officer of Fidelity Bank Ghana for two years.
Since October 2007, He have been running ABI Consulting Limited, an accounting and business advisory consulting firm in Accra, with its focus on providing specialist banking expertise to local banks, savings and loans companies, rural banks, microfinance institutions etc. ABI Consulting Limited also provides business development support to SMEs and large corporate in capacity building and strategy formulation. Apart from Millennium Insurance Ghana Limited, Baba currently sits on the Boards of Union Savings and Loans Limited, African Guarantee Fund(Kenya) and Gardenmart Ltd.
Gloria Benneh is a member and secretary to the Board of Directors. She is head of legal for the Jospong Group of Companies. Prior to this appointment she worked as a legal officer for Apex Lawcosult and Procredit savings and Loans. She has vast experience in corporate, commercial and international commercial law. Gloria Benneh holds a BA Law certificate from University of Ghana and a BL certificate from the Ghana School of Law.
