Dr. Kwame Ampofo Kusi
Board Chairman

Dr. Kusi is an investment banker by profession. He has over thirty years of experience in the fields of investment banking, strategic management, Treasury management, financial analysis and valuations, and Fund Management. He worked as the Chief Executive of uniSecurities GH. Limited until 2016, having had prior working experience as the Head of Operations with SIC Financial Services Limited. Dr. Kusi also worked as a General Manager at SDC Finance after working with NTHC Limited as Head of Corporate Finance & Research. His work experience includes a seven-year stint with Social Security & National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) as a Corporate Planning officer and later as Deputy Head of Treasury.

He served as Board member on Bank of Ghana Board and was also the Committee chairman for Auditing and a committee member of the Strategic Planning & Budget of the Bank until 2017. Dr. Kusi also served as a Board member on the Board of UMB Bank. He holds a PhD in Finance (Financial Economics) from the University for Graduate Studies-Monarch Business School, Switzerland, a M.Sc. Banking & Finance from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, a Master of Business Administration from London South Bank University, and a B.Sc. Computer Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology. He is a Certified Treasury Analyst and has a number of publications to his credit.

Mr. Oliver Akubia
Managing Director

Oliver is a Chartered Insurer from the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) and a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Cape Coast, an Executive Master’s in Business Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), an LLB from the University of London, and an LLM Financial Markets Law and Regulations from the University of Ghana Law School, Legon.

With over 21 years of experience in the insurance sector, Oliver has spent 15 years in senior management roles within the Ghanaian insurance industry. He is a seasoned insurance practitioner and a business leader, dedicated to professional growth through participation in various insurance and business leadership courses across the UK, South Africa, Morocco, Kenya, and Togo.

Prior to joining Millennium Insurance Company Limited, Oliver served as the Chief Operating Officer of Provident Insurance Company Limited.

Ms. Amina Montia

Ms. Montia is a Chartered Accountant, with over 29 years of post-qualification experience in a variety of industries internationally and locally. She has worked in reputable companies such as GEC Plessey Telecommunications and Sema Group Facilities Management in the UK, as Management Accountant.

She has also held executive positions in Ghana including Director of Finance and Administration of PHC Motors Ltd and Executive Head, Finance and Administration at the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre. She was also the Financial Controller of Leoshield Exploration GH Limited, an Australian company.

Her experiences are wide ranging- covering Financial and Management Accounting, Financial Management, Administration, Project Management, Project Accounting, Human Resource Management including staff recruitment, organising and evaluating organisational systems and operations, setting up of systems both manual and computerised, successfully managed the change by training and coaching staff to build their capacity to work effectively and get their buy-in to the project.

Ms. Montia’s rich work experiences has afforded her the knowledge to provide consultancy services to a wide range of clients; companies, government departments and nongovernmental organisations (NGOs) in the above areas among others.

As a very practical trainer, she has carried out capacity building programmes, trained and coached her clients in English and other Ghanaian languages. These include corporate clients as well as associations of women on Entrepreneurship Skills Development, Project Management and Accounting, Credit Management, Risk Management, Marketing, Book Keeping/ Financial Record Keeping, Budgeting, Cash Management, Microfinance, Leadership Skills Development, Assertiveness and Effective Communication.

Her interest in empowerment of women has led her to spearhead and set up the Savannah Women’s Empowerment Group-Ghana (SWEGG), a non-governmental organisation working for the economic and political empowerment of women in all the three northern regions of Ghana; Upper West, Upper East and Northern Regions. SWEGG currently has over one thousand (1,000) members. The membership of SWEGG includes shea butter processes, shea nut pickers, farmers, entrepreneurs, bankers, educationists, students, researchers, development experts and gender equality advocates. She is currently the Convener of SWEGG.

She is the Board chairperson of Slid Industries in Accra and sits on the boards of Baobab Microfinance Company Limited, Foundation for Security and Development in Africa (FOSDA). She has also served on the board of GPAK (a subsidiary of Graphic Communications Group Limited).

Mr. William Keston Amoquandoh

William, is a highly qualified Chartered Accountant and experienced internal auditor with over 20 years of progressive expertise across external audit, management accounting, and internal controls within diverse industries. He is noted for strong financial management, operational audit, project management, and regulatory compliance skills.

He has a proven ability to implement effective computerized accounting systems, lead financial reporting and audit processes, and maintain robust internal controls under high-pressure environments. A committed team player with excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities, consistently delivering results that exceed organizational expectations.

William Keston Amoquandoh has extensive experience in financial management and audit roles across various sectors. Since September 2019, he has served as Zonal Accountant for the Ghana Productive Safety Net Project (GPSNP) in Tamale, where he manages accounting systems and internal controls for 15 districts, ensures compliance with GIFMIS and World Bank guidelines, facilitates financial management training, and leads successful external audits. Prior to this, he was Group Internal Audit Manager at Mihinani Group from June 2018 to June 2019, directing internal audits, investigations, budget management, and compliance across multiple subsidiaries. From April 2016 to June 2018, he worked as Tamale Regional Accountant for the Ghana Social Opportunities Project, overseeing operational funds and financial reporting with adherence to World Bank e-payment standards.

Earlier in his career, William contributed to commercial and financial strategy in the private sector. At Guinness Ghana Brewery (2010–2014), he led business performance management by providing financial analysis and partnering with marketing and sales teams. During a decade at Unilever Ghana Limited (2000–2010), he held roles such as Group Information Manager, Group Audit/Compliance Manager, Group Reporting Accountant, and Product Costing Accountant, focusing on audit compliance, risk assessment, budgeting, and data harmonization. He also built foundational experience in roles including Assistant Accountant at Sandvick Tamrock Ghana Ltd., Internal Auditor at PHC Motors Limited, and Accountant Trainee at KPMG Ghana, gaining skills in audit and accounting system implementation.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Statistics, University of Ghana, Legon, and a Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (Qualified May 2006).

He is also a full Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Ghana (May 2015)

He is also skilled in stakeholder consensus-building, risk management, financial modeling, and regulatory compliance. A proven ability to drive organizational growth, optimize processes, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver business and technology solutions aligned with strategic objectives.

Noah, hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Banking and Finance and International Business Strategy from Case Western Reserve University, USA, a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Mathematics, University of Ghana and a Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management Institute.

Mr. Daniel Boateng Ansong

Daniel Boateng Ansong is a Fellow of the Institute Chartered Accountants Ghana. He holds an Executive Master’s in Business Administration Degree in Finance and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with Economics from the University of Ghana. Currently, he is the Managing Partner of ABG Consult, a firm of Practicing Accountants and Business Advisers.

Daniel started his professional career with Pannel Kerr Forster (PKF) and subsequently joined Merchant Bank (now Universal Merchant Bank) and rose to become the Head of Treasury. He also worked with Intercity STC Company Limited as a Finance Manager and moved on to Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) as the Deputy Administrator responsible for Administration, Investment and Finance.

He has garnered over thirty (30) years working experience in Administration, Finance, Treasury and Risk Management, Auditing, Taxation, Banking and has had leadership experience at the Board level in both private and public sectors. He has been licensed as a Trustee by the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) and serves on GIMPA Pensions Schemes as an independent member. He serves on two Audit Committees of two Public Sector Institutions.

Mrs. Ruth Naa Akushia Anson

Ruth Anson is a seasoned marketer with over 26 years of experience. She currently serves as the General Manager of Mandilas Ghana Limited, a leading Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) company operating in Ghana and Nigeria. Reporting directly to the Board and the Group CEO, Ruth aligns the business unit with strategic goals and oversees planning, compliance, business development, and administration.

Previously, she was the CEO of Credit Mall Limited, where she successfully doubled sales within her first year and developed a business plan that remains in use today. Under her leadership, Credit Mall served over 250,000 teachers nationwide, providing essential consumer credit for various products.

Before Credit Mall, Ruth spent over six years in the insurance industry, starting as Marketing Manager at Unique Insurance Company, where she established the Marketing Department and led it to numerous awards, including the Ghana Club 100. She played a key role in significantly increasing premium income during her tenure.

Ruth has also contributed to the security printing sector, leading a successful bid for parliamentary ballot paper printing in 2000.

An accomplished professional with strong interpersonal skills, Ruth excels in promoting customer relationships and enhancing team performance.

She holds an MBA from the University of Stirling and a BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Science from the University of Science and Technology.

Ruth is passionate about interior decorating, event planning, and landscaping.

She is married and has two children.
