Mr. William Keston Amoquandoh

William, is a highly qualified Chartered Accountant and experienced internal auditor with over 20 years of progressive expertise across external audit, management accounting, and internal controls within diverse industries. He is noted for strong financial management, operational audit, project management, and regulatory compliance skills.

He has a proven ability to implement effective computerized accounting systems, lead financial reporting and audit processes, and maintain robust internal controls under high-pressure environments. William Keston Amoquandoh has extensive experience in financial management and audit roles across various sectors. Since September 2019, he has served as Zonal Accountant for the Ghana Productive Safety Net Project (GPSNP) in Tamale, where he manages accounting systems and internal controls for 15 districts, ensures compliance with GIFMIS and World Bank guidelines, facilitates financial management training, and leads successful external audits. Prior to this, he was Group Internal Audit Manager at Mihinani Group from June 2018 to June 2019, directing internal audits, investigations, budget management, and compliance across multiple subsidiaries. From April 2016 to June 2018, he worked as Tamale Regional Accountant for the Ghana Social Opportunities Project, overseeing operational funds and financial reporting with adherence to World Bank e-payment standards.

Earlier in his career, William contributed to commercial and financial strategy in the private sector. At Guinness Ghana Brewery (2010–2014), he led business performance management by providing financial analysis and partnering with marketing and sales teams. During a decade at Unilever Ghana Limited (2000–2010), he held roles such as Group Information Manager, Group Audit/Compliance Manager, Group Reporting Accountant, and Product Costing Accountant, focusing on audit compliance, risk assessment, budgeting, and data harmonization. He also built foundational experience in roles including Assistant Accountant at Sandvick Tamrock Ghana Ltd., Internal Auditor at PHC Motors Limited, and Accountant Trainee at KPMG Ghana, gaining skills in audit and accounting system implementation.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Statistics, University of Ghana, Legon, and a Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (Qualified May 2006).

He is also a full Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Ghana (May 2015)
